NRS Dounreay is Scotland’s largest decommissioning project. For more than 50 years it was known as the centre of the UK’s fast reactor research and development and now the team is aiming to be recognised as a centre of excellence for nuclear decommissioning.

As an NRS Dounreay direct entrant graduate on the NDA group graduate programme, you’ll get the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution towards the delivery of our nationally important mission. During our two-year graduate programme, you’ll take part in multiple placements within one of our Operating Companies (Nuclear Restoration Services – Dounreay) in NDA group, providing you the opportunity to accelerate your expertise in a given area, learning from leading experts on work that has real impact. In exchange for your contribution, once you have successfully completed your personalised programme, you will be placed into a substantive role in the business depending on business requirements and your performance during the programme.
Opportunities are advertised by discipline, we advise you to apply to the discipline most appropriate to your degree.
Please only submit one application; you will not be able to apply for more than one discipline, but may be considered for other disciplines where deemed appropriate. If successful, prior to attending an assessment centre you will be notified of the industry leaders attending the centre and recruiting your discipline.
