Main tasks:

To produce and review project, safety and plant paperwork
To supervise routine and non-routine operational activities including plant improvements, repairs and minimisation and packaging of nuclear materials
To supervise the removal and transfer of hazardous materials etc.to designated storage locations
You must be able to rapidly evacuate the criticality zone, if necessary, without assistance or causing a delay to others

Equipment:

All employees are fully trained in the use of equipment required.

Respirator and air fed respirators
May require airline suits
Where required/available overhead pendant crane, forklift truck, etc.
Ladders
Scaffolds
Computers

Working in a radiological area
Working at height

Working in confined spaces
Lots of walking and stair climbing – mainly indoors but can be outside
